Engineering OnRamp Overview

Engineering OnRamp (EO) offers a collection of programs for a diverse group of middle and high school students. We strive to provide greater educational opportunities for young people including individuals from educational, cultural, geographic, or socioeconomic backgrounds considered to be underrepresented in engineering. EO serves as a pathway for students to discover engineering as a profession and choose Michigan Engineering as the place where they want to prepare for their future.

Our programs invite young people to explore engineering disciplines through exciting real-world challenges. The curriculum takes a holistic approach to learning that is focused on STEM education, personal and professional development, and college readiness.

The MEZ has joined the Office of Culture, Community and Equity (OCCE) in its pursuit of providing greater educational opportunities for individuals from educational, cultural, geographic, or socioeconomic backgrounds considered to be underrepresented in engineering.
